Looking back over 100 years of Yaffy’s history, it has been a journey from humble beginnings of manufacturing leather coats to now being a leading supplier of high-performance outerwear and technical clothing to the blue light industry, both in the UK & internationally.

Like Yaffy, society has adapted over the last century, but continues to face challenges ahead, particularly when it comes to caring for our planet. As such, adapting to care for the planet is no longer a strategy; it’s a critical consideration for long-term growth because people are prioritising conscious consumption and conscious corporate social responsibility more than ever.

Technology is continually advancing within the clothing industry, from sustainable solutions like chemical recycling, recyclable fabrics and regenerative cotton to 3D design, 3D printing and virtual reality; all are rewriting the rules for design, working towards a better future with reformed inclusivity and accessibility.

As part of the Mi Hub group, Yaffy is committed to investigating and implementing the initiatives that positively impact people and the planet wherever possible and is actively working towards the Group’s goals to achieve verified carbon neutrality on scopes 1 & 2 by 2030 and scope 3 by 2040, evolve the sustainability strategy, create a great place to work and drive the governance approach.
